The University of Zimbabwe Quinary Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician for the Ophthalmology Unit. The ideal candidate must be experienced in operating and maintaining ophthalmic equipment and capable of supporting high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
✓ Operate and maintain ophthalmic devices including autorefractors, phoropters, tomographs, and retinoscopes
✓ Ensure optimal functioning of all equipment related to ophthalmic care
Qualifications & Experience
✓ Higher National Diploma in Electronics Instrumentation and Control or Telecommunications
✓ BSc in Biomedical Engineering is an added advantage
✓ Minimum 2 years’ experience as a technician in a relevant setting
