This is a full-time position located in Chipinge for a Semi-Skilled Radio Technician. The role involves assisting the main Radio Technician with the installation and maintenance of radio equipment to ensure the company’s networks are reliable for production and service. Duties and Responsibilities
As a Semi-Skilled Radio Technician, you will assist the main technician with a range of tasks, including:
Planning and executing maintenance and inspection schedules.
Installing various types of radios within the company’s network.
Performing general overhaul work and modifying radio equipment.
Compiling reports and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
At least a Class 3 Journeyman/Certificate from a recognized institution.
5 ‘O-level certificates, including English and Maths.
1 year of experience in the radio communication field.
A solid working knowledge of VHF, UHF, and FM equipment.
Computer literacy.
The ability to read and interpret user manuals correctly.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
